"Not much. There's a busted up shack, and we'd better get there soon, it's going to be pitch black."
Kaij smiled, "The spirit of adventure is strong in you. I think you've done this before!"

[Silver-Tongue]

"You can say that..." Silver had a flash back of pretty much the same thing, just instead of fleeing guards he was fleeing legions of underworlders and necromancers in carts in daggerfall.

[Kaij]

"Heh. We're almost there."
Kaij looked at his hands, "I dispise being bound like this. Outside of certain circumstances."

[Silver-Tongue]

Silver stopped the cart by an old shack and got off the horse. As he dismounted, he spotted a dagger in a sheath on the horse. He took it out and cut off his bindings and then cut everyone else's bindings. "Is this the place?"

[Kaij]

"What do you think?"
Kaij rubbed his wrist then walked to the decrepit building. He moved some rubble and opened a trap door.
"Down here. We can wait out the storm and get some gear. There's also some food, I think."
He climbed down into the basement. It was dry and warm. There were bedrolls in the corner and some barrels against the wall. There was also some chests marked 'weapons and gear'.
"Home sweet hole."

[Silver-Tongue]

Silver followed Kaij into the trap door. "I hope you know I won't be staying long. I'm going back to my home."

[Kaij]

"I figured. May as well wait until morning."
The Breton and Dunmer entered the room, the Dunmer closing the trap door behind them. A few lanterns were lit to add light to the small space. Kaij and company grabbed replacement gear out of the chests. Kaji sat on a bedroll while the others played cards in the corner.
"Argonian, I never got your name."

[Silver-Tongue]

Silver was about to give his real name, but that had caused conflicts in the past. People would think that he was stealing the name of a great hero for profit. Every generation Silver thought of a new name. "My name is Dan-Za."

[Kaij]

"You hesitated. Ah, better not to ask questions. My name's Kaij. You could tell from the wanted posters."
He chuckled, "Anyway, you hear about the persecution of the Blades?"

[Silver-Tongue]

Silver chuckled. "I was there when it happened" Silver took his posture again. "Yes. I heard about it."

[Kaij]

"My dad was a Blades member. The Thalmor got him, and I doubt he's still alive. I spend my time making the Thalmor's life a living hell. It's the least I can do to repay them."
Kaij smiled, "And the coin is a plus."

[Silver-Tongue]

"Making other peoples lives a living hell is not really a way to retaliate." Silver sat against the wall. "I never liked the Thalmor. I had friends in the blades. But I decided to let things play out and just live my life." Silver thought back to when he was in the blades. "I miss the life of adventure." Silver looked at Kaij. "In case you didn't figure it out, I used to be an adventurer."

[Kaij]

"But then you took an arrow to the knee," Kaij laughed, "Besides, they deserve it for not being interesting. If they get robbed it's because they're boring and choose to live boring little lives doing boring things."

[Silver-Tongue]

"I think a more diplomatic approach is better. It's only because the former Emperor was such a wuss that the Thalmor has their way." Silver crossed his arms. "Once we get our new Emperor, if he's not just the same, things will change for the better."

[Kaij]

"No matter what, the Empire loses. Why not benefit from it?"
Kaij grinned, "The Aldmeri Diminion will fall either way."

[Silver-Tongue]

"Yes. Benefit is good." Silver stood up again. "What is there to do in a shack like this?"

[Kaij]

"It's a shack basement. I hope you aren't serious."
Kaij yawned, "Maybe there's something interesting in those chests? I just grabbed a spare blade and crossbow, there's bound to be something."

[Silver-Tongue]

Silver began digging through one of the chests. "Skooma? Not my cup of tea. Anything else in here?" Silver kept digging and then stopped at a piece of folded paper. He unfolded it to see a poorly drawn picture of a cliffside with an X on one spot. "Treasure?"

[Kaij]

"Oh ho. Treasure. That sounds great."
Kaij smiled, "If you're twelve."

[Silver-Tongue]

"Twelve? I came across a lot of these in my travels. None of them were this poorly drawn." Silver looked at the paper again and turned it several times. "I think it's a cliff. These things usually have good loot in them. Enchanted weaponry and such. You like weapons, right?"

[Kaij]

"Women, men, song, drink, good company, and the thrill of a job done well," Kaij thought for a minute, "Adventure. I like that, too."

[Silver-Tongue]

"Agh... I never liked the term adventure or adventurer... Seems so childish. I prefer Mercenaries on a personal monetary gain mission."

[Kaij]

"Monetary gain? Now you've got my attention."
Kaij smirked, "Well, you had it to begin with."

[Silver-Tongue]

"There's no telling where this could be." Silver passed the paper to Kaij. "You've been in Skyrim longer than I have."

[Kaij]

"Well, I suppose."
Kaij grabbed the map, "This...I think it's near Windhelm. Maybe. There's cliffs near there that are similar to this."
