"Not to imply that I do worship them." The two remaining bandits split up and attacked both Silver and Kaij. Silver's attacker swung an axe at him which he swiftly dodged and then plunged his sword into the attackers back piercing his fur armor easily. "I just acknowledge their existence."

Kaij dodged his opponents dagger, but the other one stabbed him.
"Gak! You little n'wah swit!"
He ran his sabre through his opponent's leg, then twisted. As his adversary screamed in agony, he pulled it out and lopped off his head.
"I think it's a load of hooey," he spit on his attacker, "the Daedra actually give results. The Eight and One don't."

Silver walked over to Kaij and pushed his finger into his chest. "Let's get one thing clear. So long as you say eight instead of nine, I'll see you as a Thalmor follower." Silver took his finger back. "Nine do show results. You should read a book on the oblivion crisis some time. I should know, I was there-" Silver immediately stopped. "Let's get this show on the road, shall we?"

"The Oblivion Crisis happened a long time ago. The Empire is a bloated corpse floating downstream," Kaij put his sabre to Silver's throat, "And say ONE more thing about me being associated IN ANY WAY with the Thalmor, and you'll end up there too, boot. Are we clear, Dan-Ja ?"
Kaij looked down, "Also, you're a bastard and I'm bleeding."

Silver looked at Kaij wounds. "You wouldn't happen to have healing supplies on you, would you? I know nothing about healing. I just hit things with my sword and I don't think that's going to help here."

"Probably not, I believe that'd make things worse," Kaij shrugged, "It's a light wound, I'll be fine."

"You;re not supposed to say that. Don't you read anything? Just by saying that you have made it a fatal wound." Silver hopped back onto the horse. "Get in. We'll be there soon."

"I don't know how he got me. Before we go, should we take thier stuff? They did inconvenience us."
Kaij looked at the bodies, "Maybe not their armor."

"We could take armor that we didn't damage. Any money is good money." Silver jumped off the horse again. "I'm not going back on that horse until we are absolutely sure we are going."

"At least you can ride. I'll get the far one. You can get these guys. We'll compare when I get back."
Kaij ran towards the bandit he impaled with his bolt earlier.
"It didn't break. Good," he pulled it out and listened to the sounds around himself. The wind blew through the trees and the birds sang. He continued looting the corpse at his feet. A composite bow, some steel arrows, a dagger and some iron armour.
"This stuff'll be worth something.
He dug through the bandit's satchel and found a healing potion and three gold.
"Why three gold? Ah, whatever."
Before he walked back to the cart, he drank the potion. He then gathered up what he found and hurried back.

Silver looted the rest of the corpses. He was only able to salvage the armor off of the one he had stepped on. Along with that, he was also able to find a dagger, an axe and in total thirteen pieces of gold. "You done yet? I am."

"One second."
Kaij checked the other two bodies and found the dagger he'd been stabbed with as well as a couple swords. He also found four gold and various plants.
"Not much here."
Kaij jumped on the cart, then started loading what he found.
"Seven gold and some weapons. What'd you get?"

"Armor, a couple of weapons. Thirteen gold." Silver threw the stuff onto the cart. "Are we going now?"

Kaij resumed his normal posture on the cart.

Silver got back onto the horse and began pulling the cart. It was about fourty-five minutes before they got to their destination. "Here we are!"

Kaij jumped off the cart.
"So, this is it. And we made good time, too."

"Considering we got waylaid by enemies and had to defend ourselves." Silver got off the horse and moved to Kaij. "How good are you at sneaking?"

"Waylaid? Really?"
Kaij sighed, "And you're a racist. What, you think I can sneak because I'm a Khajiit?"
The area around them had several small cottages and farms. The great wall of the city loomed over them, with stern-looking guards at the massive gate entering the city. The wooded area was far behind them, along with Whiterun Hold.

"No. I'm not saying that you can sneak because your a Khajiit. i'm saying you should be able to cause you a Khajiit." Silver looked over the scene in front of him. "I'm trying to see if there is a way you can get in."

"Could always bribe them. Or cause a distraction. Or they might just let us in, we could go ask."
Kaij shrugged, "At any rate, if we're merchants they'll let us in."

"What?" Silver looked at Kaij. "How long have you been in Skyrim? Let you in? You're a Khajiit. When it comes to me, everyone will point to the docks, but at least I'll get in."

Kaij rolled his eyes, "If we're putting gold into the town they can't object. And if they do we can bribe them."

"Bribery..." Silver began to walk towards the gate. "Follow me then. And don't say anything."

Kaij kept his hand on his blade in case things went sour, the guards wouldn't be able to see it under his cloak, giving him an advantage. The two men talked and joked, obviously bored with their job. That meant the attempt could go either way. He calculated the best way to kill them and glanced around for a place to dump their bodies.

Silver walked up to the guards, looking back every so often at the cart. "Hello sirs! My name is Mar-Jee. I'm a merchant and would love to bring my cart into the city and do some trade." The guards turned they're attention to Silver and then moved they're gaze to Kaij. "My bodyguard. You can't be too careful on the roads these days. "Say something to the nice guards Ma'Jato."
